I'd better tell you the part numbers.
Front coils - С4Н-10112HD
Rear - C4H-10112
Front shocks - 553158
Rear - 553111 and you've got to do something with metall bushings. For example, replace whem with ones of your stock rear shocks.

That'll give you about 80-90 mm of lift.

You have created some awesome looking Jimjams there!

I think the BFG's look great on any 4x4 but it's a shame they are so expensive! I think they last longer so are worth it perhaps.

You have a nice little clan of Jimny owners to go wheeling with too!

Buy the way guys.
I'm going to trip around in Iceland in August-September. Any of local Jimny-drivers here at BigJimny.com?
Need advice to plan the route. Where to go, what to see?

I have been to Iceland three times :) You won't regret going, it is a fantastic country, and I will definitely go back again.

I have not driven a 4x4 myself in Iceland but I did go on a 4x4 safari to some of the more remote places and up some glaciers. If you can go during June/July then you will benefit from 24 hour daylight, and there will be more of the interior roads open ("F" roads I think they are called). These can only legally be driven on by 4x4's but some will be shut out of season.

As for places to see, we have done the common tourist attractions, such as Geysir and the waterfalls which make up the "Golden Circle" as it's known. They are well worth seeing though, although they will get busy.

My first trip was an 18 day tour around the main route 1, seeing the sights. I found I preferred northern Iceland simply because it seemed more remote that the south and south west but the whole place is fantastic. It's like driving on the Moon

Don't forget to go to the Blue Lagoon near Grindavik (not far from Kelfavik airport)!

As for Big Jimny users from Iceland, there is someone by the name of Holmur I think, so it might be worth dropping him a PM.

Oh, and we want to see plenty of pictures!

Done with rear disk brakes.

First remove the shaft and drum brake. Replace it with new bearing and milled cap for the axle.

Then put it inside. I like bright colors. :)

Here you can see additional seal. It's of my 15 tonn truck gearbox. Added lot of grease, everything to make it water resistant.

Laser cut support for caliper. To keep it easier in manufacturing I use two parts. It doesn't require milling.

As far as I use Vitara calipers and rotors in front, here's some original spare rotors.

To keep everything aligned I added caliper itself. It's VW Golf/Audi/Skoda/Citroen/etc rear 38mm caliper.

Seems it's perfect.

Use clamps to prevent any movement while welding.

Just to fix it. Got to remove it otherwise the seals got burned.

I use plasma welding. Works quite fine.

Everything remains as it should be.

Time to shorten parking brake cable.

Reuse it to fix the cable.

Crimp it..

Mode some nuts with hummer. :)

Everything on its place.

Then just make some new brake lines and bleed it.
It's a good idea to use 1" master cylinder and booster of V6 Vitara.
