It would also be preferred to use a 2x heavier car than a Jimny

There's a fine line between brave and stupid. The driver is nowhere even near that line.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
What's missing John is that with the water flowing so quickly and in such volume it is almost impossible to see submerged obstacles like holes in the road big enough to swallow a wheel, that and the ability to judge where the actual outside edge of the downstream drop is, all coupled with the fact that the road surface will be covered in loose gravel being pushed by the volume of water as well as the action of that water pushing on the vehicle makes the whole enterprise very very sketchy. That driver may have got through but how many haven't?

I There's a saying in diving that there are old divers and there are bold divers, but there are no old, bold divers...
That can definitely be transferred across to this scenario!

Does anyone know what car he was in? I reckon my Jimny would've just been swept away at least in the beginning of that video.

Ic you look at the full video on YouTube it seems to be possibly a 70 series land cruiser double cab pickup 5 people inside and a good number stood in the bed. Tres sketchy.
