I had a Dell that did that. I fitted a new wifi card and it fixed it.

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

Found the video I used mate. Might not exactly the same issue but worth a try because it's simple. Basically shows you how to uninstall and recover network adapters.. takes only a few minutes

On the Dell it was easily accessed from underneath.

You could try a USB dongle. Mine has a similar issue but its a result of living in the country with poor telephone lines, the whole village suffers.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

not wishing to alarm, but if hardware an drivers and all OK, may be a malware issue
how easy/diff would it be to reset/re-install the laptop to original settings ?
what operating system is the the laptop on and what system are all the other devices on (conflicts can occur)
could be many things - bit like a death wobble

test drove a yeti today - lovely

;)

Or is it dependant on the model?

Latest windows will try a few things tonight as the daughter has come over to visit, it has anti virus on it so fingers crossed

I got a yeti for the wife. It's fair to say we both don't like it very much. Less about the car and more the engine - the diesel lumps are useless, dangerous even! It just stalls in second gear if you try pull away whilst moving at slower speeds.. we both keep getting caught out pulling out of junctions etc. Then it takes an age to restart!

Stick to the petrol lump
