Has anyone seen a long range weather forecast for the Meet? Hoping that it will be sufficiently dry for the standard cars to actually get beyond the staging areas.

The bulk of the surface at Aldermaston is quite firm with a lot of gravel and stones in it. Therefore many of the tracks are more axle twisters rather mud plugging mud holes. Road going Jimnys will be able to access most of the site.

Thanks for the info. Just from the videos I have been looking at it looks a bit slimy after a downpour. Good to know.

This is my daily drive and I can't do too much adventurous stuff - I need it to get me to work to pay the bills

I'm looking forward to seeing what the serious vehicles can do

I like that

For those with RAC or similar relay cover and no sticker, you just need to get dragged to the nearest road before you claim it's always this dirty and it's just chance it's broken down next to a field full of Jimny's.
Apparently if you have Green Flag you can just leave it in the mud....

Have fun all, wish I was going.

Help! we have created a monster :)

With 54 Jimnys and counting, I am looking for some experienced off-roaders or experienced drivers in general to sign on as Marshalls at the start of the day. There is no reward I am afraid APART FROM A FETCHING YELLOW BIGJIMNY HI-VIS VEST but we need 5 people able to direct people and offer advice, even just lining up cars in the car-park

Let me know if you are interested in helping and being part of the largest Jimny meet ever in the UK and possibly Europe.
