I knew nothing of this , so full marks for bringing it to everyone's attention Lambert [smiley thumbs-up needed here]

I'm actually off shift and the 24th falls in the middle of my off-shift, tickets don't look expensive - I might go out of sheer curiosity and it would make a change from my usual classic car / restoration events!

Excellent. I'll not be there early doors about half ten or eleven, but will keep an eye open for you.

Its on my doorstep and I did not know about it.
Looks like its was originally based at Donnington, in fact the heading photos on the site are the Donnington exhibition hall, but its now moved to stafford show ground. Must have grown to move to stafford as its a much larger venue, should be good.
Not sure I can make it though as working (as always) that weekend...poo

It's about 1.5 hours from me, might pop over and see what goodies I can get for the new Jimny.

A two and a half hours drive for one lightly modded gen4 and a few generic bolt on's. Something is wrong with the market.

I got there at 9:30 I didn't spot any Jimny's in the car park then or when leaving at 12:30.

I took money to spend and didn't spend much at all. Bought a tow rope (strap) and a length of cargo rail.

I did like the all metal winch bumper that was there for the Gen 3, looked really well made. I did ask them if they had any plans for doing one for the Gen 4, basically I won't be holding my breath.

Yeah I know what you mean. I pointed out to the team trying to hock the gen4 that they were making bits for a car that is almost impossible to buy while not catering for an existing model with thousands of owners itching to spend money. To be honest I started getting a bit upety after that and was berating many of the suppiers for predominantly focusing on defenders that haven't been available for 4 years at the expense of the rest of the 4x4 market sectors. Maybe if even one or two of them listened we might see some more availability of Suzuki products. I'm not holding my breath.
