NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Replied by DrRobin on topic Jimmy for sale.
I used one of these car buying services to sell my parents VW. The bloke who came spotted a few things, then said the car would basically go straight to auction so was worth a less than the estimate, about 25% less. The guy was a decent chap and my parents were happy so we let it go.

Your Jimny looks in very good condition for its age, provider there is no rust underneath or on body/suspension mounts I would think it would sell quite easily on a private sale and you will get a lot more for it than through a car buying service. You might have to advertise on AutoTrader or eBay though to find the buyer.

If you do sell it to a car buying service it will end up on a used car lot for 2x what you get. Everyone has to make a little on it.
