Do you know if it’s possible to get the parts to make the rear seatbelts like the Japanese versions? Were they can be clipped out of the way.

That would be good! I would buy them, for sure.

Hi GeorgeC

Im in NSW awaiting my new Jimny would love to see a full version of that list if you have it.

NSW dealers have not much in the way of options and when i said the QLD web site showed many more I got a shoulder shrug safe to say I might be doing some of this myself

mlines wrote: Well, I saw elsewhere that you thought that the £114 price for a set of 4 was extortionate and I thought that was a Japanese special import price.. However I have just checked and they are available in the European market as a number of countries have decided to take them and yes, they are £114 for a set (I can offer them slightly cheaper but even that is totally stupid).

I think 65p is more reasonable!

So what do these hooks attach to in the interior? As in.... what fastener do we use?

Andy - all of the cargo fixing points are M6 threaded. The kayak lashing points I used came with M6x15mm bolts which are fine for the points on the sides and rear of the loadbay, but slightly short for the two in the rear seat footwells. I bought M6x25mm stainless bolts for those.

You do need to fit nylon washers behind these to have them flat against the body.

Thats the one! I'll have to shop around.

Hay Gadget, your piccy just reminded me of summit. I bought the discklock too the other week. The problem with the steering wheel protector being naff, was remedied by a £5 halfords wheel cover. I simply pop it on, and no scratches, scuffs or dents in wheel leather!

Great idea. I did have a look at the wheel covers in Halfords, but thought they felt a bit scratchy inside, what one did you go for?
