As you will have seen in the last post, a number of the large hinge and panel bolts are rusted solid, so Winchfield Engineering needed to get serious!

 In the picture on the left you can see a nut being held onto the bolt using MoleGrips.


They went around the SJ, welding nuts on all the stuck bolts

Even some bolts under the front wheel arch played hard to get.



As you can see on the right, the nuts then made the bolts easier to get a good grip on. 

 This meant it was possible to under the bolts with a spanner.


The picture on the right shows that they won the battle.
