Hi guys,
I bought a set of ORA radius arm guards a while back, and never got round to fitting them. Of course I then went and bashed my radius arms (nothing serious) and have been inspired to install them! I don't have any instructions and was wondering if anyone could let me know how it's done?
Many thanks!

I have KAP arms, but its the same...
Firstly, sort out what your doing about bushes (do they have them, or do you need some?, do they need to be castor corrected? - is it lifted?)
spend the week before the job spraying the nuts/bolts with WD40 or other preferred penetrating stuff
Loosen the nuts & bolts before jacking up. will probs need a large breaker bar as they are tight!
Jackup and support by chassis rails, Take wheels off for access.
support axle at full suspension travel. may need to remove shock absorbers bottom bolts also to access radius arm bolts.
Remove bolts and lever out with a crowbar. make sure axle is supported.
I had to widen the mounts a bit to get them back in there, just bash with a hammer!
Now is also a good time to put some underseal on the bits you cant normally get to. gotta fight that tinworm
bang in new arms and bolt up. probably a good idea to use new bolts with locknuts/washers.
pretty simple job as long as you can get the old ones off

Hi look on Dave's S200KYS jimny laner build thread page 3&4
just remove radius arm bolt slide the guard half way up drop in spacer washers
jiggle around put a new bolt in M12x120 i think because old bolt will not be long enough
push up the front bit till it touches chassis mark through the m8 bolt hole both sides
remove drill the marked holes 8.5mm-9mm then replace as above then fit the m8 bolts
tighten job done
Jack
