Best place to buy a crankshaft pulley was created by NineCherries
I've had a disaster. The crankshaft pulley has separated and spat the belts. I couldn't bodge the fanbelt so I had to be recovered. I've been looking at prices but ooft £150 ish + belts.
Any secret good suppliers of this part at a reasonable price? Or is it best to go to Suzuki direct. I need to get the car operationable asap.
I see from a quick search on here I'm not the only one that's fell foul to this happening.

Cheers man, my worry is not knowing what is a decent part and buying a lower quality part and having the same problem happen sooner again. I'll have a look.

Martin can supply Genuine parts from the Big Jimny Shop. They are not listed in the shop but contact him to see if he can help you out with a more favourable price.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

If you've read my long thread about the saga when my 14 year old one went, get a new bolt and be prepared to simply cut the flange off the old bolt to remove it, mine had welded itself on with solid rust. (or undo the bolt now before you order anything....)
