I run remould (Insa Turbo Sahara) 195/80 R15 mud tyres, no trouble with rubbing. No lift on mine, andI use Vitara steel rims with 30mm spacers behind them for the Insa Turbos. Vitara steelies have a different offset to Jimny steelies, so spacers are needed.

No worries about gearing with 195/80R15?
But it will need a lift for these tires, right?
Is a 2" lift sufficient?


I have kumho kl71s in 195/80R15 on a standard height Jimny and all is fine with no rubbing...

Thanks, I have no idea what brand they are, I just bought them with the tyres as a packages from 4x4 tyres, but I like them too. :)

Isn't it worse if the wheels are spinning without lockers and than suddenly strike the ground?
