Where do you buy your tyres from? was created by NineCherries
Just about to buy new tyres and have been looking at all the usual suspects online. A local supplier can supply and fit them for £80 a corner (£20 more a corner than what I can get supply only online)

Is it better to support your local(ish) tyre guy???

My gut says yeah, deal local, but my wallet shouts out that i could almost buy a fifth matching tyre for my spare with the money I'd save if i buy online. Sure I'll need to find someone to fit them for me but.....

Got my last four from tyreleader. German or something company about £200 cheaper than the supply quote's I got from UK companies delivered to my door. Paid by credit card for insurance protection with no problems.

It's been fettled just a tad.

I've had my last couple of sets of tyres (and wheels lately) from JimnyBits... might as well support someone in the Zook community if we can?

I would normally agree with you there Dave, But the quotes i was getting for the tyres i wanted were ridiculous.
On a plus side the 200 odd i saved went between you and jimnybits for new panhard rods and bushes B)

It's been fettled just a tad.
