So markyp2000, have you never smashed your diff on anything? Have you got any other under body protection? I'm interested to know what you have as if you have never had them break or get damaged then I wont wasta my money on them

I think the diff guards are essential! You might be able to dodge the rocks and stumps up to some point, but there might be a hidden rock in the mud or in high grass etc that you cannot see. I personally like to drive wherever I like without worrying if I'm gonna smash my diff cover in on some rock. And if you do serious offroad like rock crawling and such, it's impossible to prevent damage from happening without good diff and under body protection! And when you think about how cheap those diff guards are, there's no reason not to grab a set or fabricate them yourself.

i have no under body protection but thats up to me but as paul4x4 said its best to have them

The best diff guard i've seen was Darthloachies, just a simple bit of ree bar welded on, cheap and effective. I have the ORA guards and it saved my front diff the other week.

Hey Darth from that pic you must be running 31's are you. I say this since I note your body mount legs are still intact and I had to modify mine yesterday for extra clearance. I cut three quarters of the rearmost leg away and am in the process of fabbing an 'L' shaped reinforcement from 4mm steel.
