360?!?!
Mine only did 220 at the most when it was standard!

Then with a 2"'lift and 215/75/15 ats it did 200 miles
Now with a 3" lift, roof bars and lights I only do 180 to a tank

Am I the only one who struggles to get more than 200miles to a tank?

When I'm driving without thinking too much about gas usage, Imy tank ends in 150 miles :)
I'm on 215/75 mud tires. And when the road goes up, I just want to still accelerate... Not to mention the gas usage when in racing...
Normal usage is to run 250 miles on one tank though.

sadly, no way 360 miles in a standard jimny tank

maybe need to get your speedo/ trip checked out

or the garage you're filling up at is ripping you off indicating more than you're actually getting

something amiss I' affraid :(

Agree with Halford. My standard Princess does 220 ish showing empty ish. Ok it's not a vvt engine but at the moment it takes about £43 to fill up.

Hope the helps

Hi all,

I have checked my speedo and it is 1mph different to my sat nav reading, since changing to alloys and with a k&n filter and some extra weight in bits I am getting 53 miles a day and fill up every 6 days so getting 318 out of it, my journeys are dual carriageways at 50-60mph with 205 tyres. It must be the way I drive or I must have got a good one!

318 is more believable as I have a 2013 though I only use a 3/4 of a tank and get 450KM.
As Halford said, sadly not 360miles on a standard Jimny no matter how you drive it.

45mpg? You must be doing the last 53 mile trip with the fuel light on!

I made a school boy error and assumed the tyre pressures were fine in my new jim as the tyres had been replaced recently. so after experimenting with mpg calculators I thought I'd check them. The front driver side was 14psi! The other 3 were between 18-20.
When the temperature drops the pressure would have reduced too effecting mpg.
I pumped them up to manufacturer recommended level of front 23 and rear 26 and I have now managed to get 40.70mpg (315 miles on one fill)
I reckon I can beat this as filled up before light came on. So Im thinking it might be possible to get a standard jimny getting these unusually high figures.

I'm getting mpg obsessed now I need to calm down.

I roughly get 200-220 on a full tank to the red, standard with 205 road tyres lots of very short trips too, its a 2000 g13b. Is there much difference in mpg between g13b and m13a engines
