Picked my new Jimny up this morning :) It's very different to what I normally drive but it's exactly what I expected and it put a smile on my face driving home. Gets a few looks since there are no other ones locally.

My dealer experience was good. When I paid my deposit in December I was told to expect it mid January so they were spot on. It had a full tank of fuel in it and a set of Jimny mats when I collected it too - I'm not sure if they are standard?

I've already got my Dotz Dakar 15x6" steel wheels with general grabber at3s tyres fitted but it was dark by the time I finished so the photos will need to wait until tomorrow. The only issue is that the tpms warning will be illuminated constantly - but it doesn't bother me enough to pay around £60 per wheel for additional sensors!

The only other non standard item so far is a soft spare wheel cover.

Plan to get the rear windows tinted once spring arrives and also considering getting the roof wrapped black.

Will the TPMS sensor not swap from the std wheel to your new ones?

I'm not entirely sure. I suspect a garage would be able to but I couldn't myself - it would need the full valve swapped, not just the valve stem. Besides I might put the standard wheels back on during summer so i wanted to keep them original.

Looks like you can buy tpms emulators online but I don't know if they are any good.

I just used the standard wheel nuts. I'll take a photo of one next weekend when I take the rear wheels back off to fit the centre caps I've ordered.

Photos with the new wheels and tyres. The only issue (apart from the tpms) is the centre caps don't fit the rear wheels because of a larger centre bore. However I've ordered a couple of 110mm bore caps from 4x4 tyres.

I'm happy with my choice of wheel and tyre. They sit slightly further out and fill the arches better but aren't beyond the arches.

That looks amazing! For reference, what is the tyre size if you don't mine me asking.

Really liking the beefier but subtle non monster truck stance. Very classy.

Thanks guys.

The tyres are 215/75r15. Could certainly go a bit bigger in terms of clearance but it is a good balance it terms of looking chunkier without messing up the gearing and wearing out things quicker.

The wheels are 6 inch wide with 0 offset so only slightly wider and slightly more offset than standard.

Wheels and tyres look great, where did you order the wheels from?
