Third car. first Jimny, thought I'd finally get around to making a build thread with all the stuff I've done over the last couple of years.

Dubbed "Jenny" I bought her February 2015 from a local car auction, 2008 Reg and around 120000 miles for £3000 (I won the auction at £1750, but the owner wouldn't let it go for that unfortunately :( ).

A few photos to tide you over for now, plus todays additions, and I'll upload more pics when I get around to it.

Starting off with today then, my new wheels arrived

£275 from eBay, and £40 P&P. I'll need new tires for them soonish and that's top of my ever growing to-do list

I got both driver's side ones on, then moved on to the passenger left and discovered a huge buckle in the rim whilst cleaning it

Messaged the sellers, whom were very apologetic, and offered me a £120 refund (the cost of a brand-new one) which I gladly accepted. I'll see If I can get the wheel repaired, and hopefully I'll be quids in ;)

As for the passenger front, I wasn't too sure it was holding air so I skipped that one and decided to fill it with air and leave it a day or two to see if it would stay inflated. However I think the valve might be bust. :(

At least the one side looks nice though.

Special day today, so I decided to mark it with a service

Didn't get around to fitting the spark plugs because one of the rubber stoppers came off the HT leads

Do I get a trophy or something?

Nah, I tend to get Premium from Sainsbury's. My MPG is apparently better compared to using the standard stuff, and I get nectar points.

Finally got my JDM Grille yesterday, had to go to the Parcelforce depot and pay a £25 customs charge

Thoughts?

After that I decided to give her a clean and put my spare wheel and carrier back on (after about a year off for "weight reduction")

Also I've got a set of 5 spoke alloys for sale if interested.

Err not sure about the grill if I'm being honest, it's certainly different, but I really like the heritage of the 5 slot. Don't take it off on my account it's your car and it's not offensive.
