headlights turned out nice!

Standard Jimny rot around the headlights....Plating it or replacing the entire front panel?

Just plating it, don't see any point in changing the whole thing.. it's not a new car anymore :)

Cut out the boot floor today, washed the chassis and tank underneat. Sprayed it with wurth rust converter.
Got the new hinges for the rear door today, and with the bumpers already off I think I will paint them along with the hinges and boot floor!

It's what I do for a living :) the photo of the rust converter was taken 2 minutes after applying it. Put a fan inside the car for the night so it will dry up faster

"Fitted" the panel today, pretty bad fitment.
Figured it was best to pull the edges up the other way Drilles out holes for seats and seatbelt, ended up a bit big and a couple holes too much. Measure once, cut twice was it? Haha doesnt matter. Fixing an old damage on the bumper also Sprayed some Mercasol 3 on the chassis so it can dry til i have painted the parts

If i was to buy a boot floor again I would consider bying this original one from Japan instead for a bit more money.

Didn't get anything done today as the shop is completely full (good thing really). BUT, I bought a Baleno! Going to chop it tomorrow alreay i think, using the engine of course and going to try fitting the seats aswell.

Not thinking of starting the conversion until spring time I think, plenty of time to plan and buy parts!

Not going to weld it, it's bolted with the seats in so just using glue(karosserilim). Its just as strong as any weld :)
