It is twice the power of the G13BB... I doubt that an extra 50-60kg makes much difference with those tyres.
I'm not interested in how much power this engine makes.
I'm interested in hearing about how it handles and what he's done to take the extra weight, springs, shocks and such.
I haven't changed the suspension yet, But I think this setup will be allright. I used to run 3X20 L jerry cans in front, and that worked well. No problems at all.

jimnydms wrote: do you have any tips on the V6 conversion ? was it very difficult would you recommend this or was it a real nightmare to fit? did you use the Jimny gearbox or the vitara s ? cheers
I'm using the GV gearbox, GV T case (as a crawl gear) and a toyota T case behind.
No nigthmere while fitting it, only good dreams
Well.... tips.. I'll try to write something..
I removed the front cats, and have the large one remaining so I can run the engine without CEL.
You need a bodylift
Fuel lines had to be relocated
Of course custom engine bracket
Custom gearbox bracket
It is a really tight fit, I wanted to have the original radiator fan, and that works! But your hand does not fit between the engine and firewall.
A little cut in the firewall
Radiator moved a bit forward and down, front crossmember removed.. and another made
Wiring is not for everyone, but it is quite easy when you start.
I drilled another hole in the firewall, just for the engine harness.
I used the Jimny steering box, and GV steering pump.
Heater hoses are really hard to get to, I would suggest to relocate the input of the heater. ( Mine started leaking, and was very hard to get to and fix, but I managed to fix it without taking the engine out again)
I will post some pictures of the conversion later on.
Hope you understand my english, and that I can help someone out here

Needed to fit the hydraulic clutch,
Had to change the engine harness, it was on the back of the manifold, but had to put it down under because there was not enough space.
Oil lvl
Rad mounts and gearbox mount
The cooland filling will be under the hood crossmember, so this was the solution, it came out of an XL7.
