hey guys and gals, im making my first Jimny purchase hopefully next week and it's 2016 model
and im planning my build but the biggest questions I have is should I go coil springs or airbags?
I live in Iceland so the build will focus on super rough gravel roads, deep glacier rivers to cross and some glacier/snow driving, roof rack/rooftop tent
somewhat of an overland build
dose anyone here has experience with airbag suspension? what brands would you recommend?
looking forward to making a build post once I receive the car and start doing some work
best regards from Iceland
Benedikt!

Welcome to the forum. I believe air bags have been done at least once in the past by someone on here but I can't find a buid thread if one ever existed. There is however a build by one of your countrymen in the build section stickies Holmar H, that is running a v6 and Toyota axles and is a very informative guide.

To my mind coil springs are more reliable and an easier way to lift it.
Air has so many ways it can go wrong and you don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere trying to re-inflate it to get home.

I'll folliw along.....I've got a set of bags for under my project jimny.....for that stanced look at the retail.....not really....just for comfort and adjustability.
Might help it float on river crossings too lol
