Front Axle Question. was created by bryn
I may have to replace the front axle on my 2007 Jimny which has ABS. If the only axle I can source is one without ABS will if fit or must it be replaced with a one with ABS.

The front casing should be OK as the ABS sensors attach to the swivels, not the axle tube itself. You would need to keep the ABS swivels on but I think the tube will be the same. The diff might well be the wrong ratio so best to swap that over as well.
