Yes they clip in ^^^^^^^

This may help

I found I had to purchase extra clips as eventually they started to slip down. With the extra clips they have been fine. This also happened on my son's Corsa, so not a Jimny specific problem.

Yokohama Geolanders, Sony head unit, NAUTILUS Air Horn, DRL conversion, Rear cargo space, Elvis Bobblehead, transfer Guard, Indian hanging Elephant, Koni Heavy track dampers, Custom SS exhaust, Voodoo Doll, Adventure Rack with LED ight bar, vintage ERIBA caravan usually attached (yes it's slow)

That's a great video, when I fitted mine the genuine suzuki wind deflector part was very brittle, as I found out...:S

I have been looking at a set of these as an alternative to the air conditioning. Is there anything to recommend the genuine over the heko?

The first set I bought (aftermarket) the window struggled to go up at the last couple of inches, I don't know if I was just unlucky but I swapped them for suzuki ones they go up no problem.

Just checked and mine are Heko. I did not have any issues with the window going up as Daniel30 ^^^^, but after about 6 months I noticed they had started to slip down slightly, I suspect as the double sided tape they apply had stopped working. I simply obtained another 4 clips and fitted these with the originals, it's been fine since. Very happy with finish and look for them, no complaints.
So if you go Heko ask for some etrxa clips, usually they will send them free of charge.

That's an interesting question, aircon v deflectors.
I find the deflectors are best for when it is raining so I can have a small amount of ventilation.
When it is terrifically hot - like 26°+ Celsius - I prefer the aircon.
Also on motorway type driving the deflectors allow the window to be open without letting too much noise in.
On the downside I am sure they add to drag.
Also I had the in-channel ones a few times and hated them.

Do it right - use Hammerite
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.
