You won't go far wrong with any big brands of tyres but everyone will tell you that their preferred option is best.

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

Thanks guys.

Any decent places to buy them or is it just anywhere that’s cheapest online?

I did like the look of the grabber but the Goodyear are about £10 ish a corner cheaper, money is tight at the minute haha!

Bob - 2005 Jimny - standard, for now.....

I went from Bridgestone Dualer HTs (the Jimnys OEM) to General Grabber AT3s. The grabbers blew the Bridgestones out of the water in grip on the road and on gravel (have yet to try them on mud). In my opinion they look much better too.

I got them from mytyres.co.uk for £71/corner then had them fit at my local place for £12.50/corner. In 205/75r15.

Thanks all. I do keep hearing good things about the grabbers.

I need to check out the state of the tyres when I get there but I know it’s the first quick and easy ‘mod’ I can make.

I’ll be honest, this jimny is filling a classic car shaped hole in my life after having to sell mine a few years back, I want to do loads of little mods to this and keep it running well and work on it myself. If there’s anybody on here from Devon give me a shout!

I had some Wranglers once, they were on my Cherokee. I think they were like any other tyre but then I am a bit of a philistine with tyres as I am basically unsophisticated about things like grip etc. For me what matters is size and looks along with cost. I reckon you'd be OK with the Wranglers.
I got my last three or four sets of tyres online and got them fitted locally.

Do it right - use Hammerite
