Killing the low tyre pressure warning light.

Since my 2015 Jimny went on 35" tyres the low pressure warning light is constantly on. The sensors were moved to the new wheels but since I usually keep the pressure at 20 psi (or less) the quickest way to get rid of the light is to get the speedo cluster out and cut the wire leading to the bulb. Does anyone have a recent diagram that shows which wire leads to this bulb?

Regards from Reykjavik

Sorry for not being able to help you, but that car sure caught my interest!

Would love to read about it, and see more pictures of it! Must be motor converted as well i guess?

Of course I could, but it seems too much trouble totally dismantling the instrument cluster, pulling the hands of the dials, etc. and risking messing something up.

I thought that the bulbs were surface mount from the back if the cluster, no need to split the casing?

You say in your first post, You are going to remove the cluster to cut the wire. When you remove the cluster, You will see that the bulbs just clip in on a bayonet type fitting. Just remove the relevant bulb.

It's been fettled just a tad.

2015 Jimnys have a tyre pressure monitoring system?

Yes, they have a pressure monitoring system. I already have the cluster out (i'm installing a speedo corrector) and it seems that you need to split it and access the bulbs from the front.

Yes, that is exactly what I just did! Great minds think alike ;-)
The 2015 model has diodes in the console, not bulbs. The Suzuki dealer over here told me that this console was not repair-able.

;)

No doubt make it like that now so you have to get it fix or replaced at a dealers.
