Ever wonder where geriatric Jimnys spend their twilight years before their inevitable date with the crusher? I think I have found the answer.

Took a trip to Argyll - some serious petrol heads will recognise it as the spiritual home of Minnowfish Carburettors
These were particularly appealing to VW tuners and it is also the home of the Argyll sports car.

What did stand out for me were the sheer volume of old model Jimnys I saw in one day - on the road, parked up and being used as utility vehicles. So now I know where all those old cars end up before being crushed till the pips squeak in the jaws of death.
