So I have a recovery rope, two shackles, and a pair of gloves. I bring with me a phone and a credit card. That's it. Less is more.

- 12v tyre compressor
- first aid kit
- tow strap (onroad use)
- fire extinguisher
- jump leads
- telescopic wheel brace
- picnic blanket
- hi-vis vests
- folding shovel
- rain poncho
- foil blanket
- shopping bags
I've never needed to use a proper toolkit on a car while away from home, so just have a couple of manky screwdrivers in there just in case
None of that lot is Jimny specific, I carried the same stuff in my cars going back ages. None of it is for off-road recovery, as the car is lacking in proper recovery points at the moment.

No wonder you're only getting twenty to the gallon.
And, no room for Miss Hotlips.
