When I last filled up, I made sure it was to the neck, and likewise this time. 18.12 Ltr./3.986 Gal.
That works out at 40.14 mpg., which i am happy with from an auto box.
The average on the dash display, over 1097 miles, is 39.4 mpg.
Steve.

Bob, you and I could cause havoc, travelling in convoy.

Yip it's a manual one. I should add that I don't always travel using a very light throttle pressure for max mpg. Then again the Jimny doesn't really seem designed for pedal to the metal driving. My wrists are a little tender after exercising a 1200cc motorcycle … I think it best not to compare mpg figures over the weekend!

As long as our 'convoy' doesn't descend down to Portknockie or Pennan harbours - stereo Kinetic Yellow might be too much for the locals?

I'll have a ride out to Pennan, Bob, and see how they react, although two may well be too much for them.
Steve.
