Just popping along to introduce ourselves , having just bought 2 Jimnys today..!!! Picked one up this evening collecting the other in a few weekends . After 50 mile trip from Bradford to home along various motorways at JDW speeds. My missus got used to it ;) The General grabber tyres may be helping the interesting resonances ...however the side wind certainly did:cheer:
One of these will find a home in a few weeks with a daughter after we have used it ....checked it to avoid the phone call the starts with ...."Daaad...":P
Always loved the stance and proper no frills design of the Jimny and now having horses that live up unadopted roads we have the required excuse.

Just a quick update ...collected 2nd Jimny today this one is an O3 plate cabrio jobbie...seems ok gear-lever is like stirring soup! 3rd and 5th selection is interesting , never sure if it's 3 or 5 , Isuspect there is a bush at gear lever to box linkage that requires help. But again 50 mile drive home along country roads and motorways in February and heater works well enough JDW comes in at 43 and leaves at 48 , tomorrow will be the off road test ......not quarry plugging you understand but the unadopted version of the Somme that passes for the route to the stables!
