Vehicles (17 Jan 2019)

You can now add the vehicles you own to your profile as little icons that appear in your profile and alongside your posts.
This is a bit of an experiment. Take a look under the "REWARDS" menu across the top of the screen for the vehicles "ADD/MODIFY" option.
Let me know how you get on.

Hi all happy new year could anyone please tell me if the lac valve can be removed from the throttle body housing so I can clean it many thanks dawn

Think I found the valve looks like it’s bolted on to the front of the throttle housing witwith 2 screws anyone no if that is it

I think so! 4 screws, 2 pipes on the front of the throttle body. Remember to clean out the throttle body paying attention to the edges of the butterfy if the IAC is full of muck.

I'd recommend brake fluid to clean it as it is aggressive enough to dissolve petrol and oil varnishing but doesnt damage plastic or rubber seals. Its cheap and you can rinse it out with water too!

Ah th bit I am looking at as 2 screws and a black plug attached to it
