Hello guys i have a 2019 jimny 1.5 at glx. I am going to buy All terrain tires . I dont wantto make any modifications. I would like to use original rims. What is the max size of tires ? My dealer told me i can only use 215/65/15 but i found diffrent diffrent numbers on internet. And i asked tire dealers everybody says diffrent size . I am really confused. What is the tire size anyone can advice? Please help :))

I would say 215/75/15 has others have already fitted them
If you're thinking retreads then i would say that's a gamble has they will be taller

As you use the term "GLX" as opposed to SZ4 or SZ5 then I assume you are not in the UK.

There may well be regulations in your country that restrict your choice.

If you look at the guidelines for 215/75/15 is 6.6 inches. However there is some leeway on this in terms of "acceptable variation" - this depends on tyre construction and as 4x4 tyres are generally robust then they will fit on standard rims without issue.

I run 235/75R15's on stock rims without any problems. Note that the 235's are slightly too big even with 50mm lift and front bumper trimming is required, they fit fine at the back. 215/80R15 is the biggest size you can fit at stock height without trimming.

The GLX is the South African equivalent of your SZ5, but we don't get any of the safety and nanny kit. Driver and passenger airbags, and that is it.
