Anybody else had trouble with vitmods spring spacers? They just don't seem to fit properly in any configuration. I must be missing something

You can see the spacers aren't even 2" to begin with, but that's not a biggy.
The issue is that the spacer won't fit up over the rubber sleeve that sits around the cone in the middle of the spring.
Also if you remove the rubber sleeve and push the spacer up as far ad it goes then it bottoms put but fits so badly and is really sloppy it can't be the way it's intended.

Get in touch with Darrell and ask for advice
I run his lift springs and fit well
I have seen somewhere before people having problems fitting said spacers I also think you get what you pay for
Bits4vits/Zook bob does the best one's on the market
IMO with propper R&D but not cheap

Hope you get it sorted

Jack

Right, I spoke to Vitmods and apparently that's how they are intended. I wasn't happy to fit something that fitted so badly so i've sent them back and i'm going to look elsewhere. Can anybody recommend spring spacers that they have actually tried personally and can categorically say fit/work well? Either that or i'll spend the extra ~£30 and get 2" longer springs

If you are handy with tools/grinder/tape measure
Then MK1 honda CRV rear springs are an option
I picked up 4 for less than 40 quid new
