4wd buttons do nothing was created by Jjbradshaw1
Hi everyone,

I probably should have revived an old thread but couldn’t really see one where they’d had a similar issue. I’ve got an 05 Jimny with the button transfer system. Except when I press my buttons, absolutely nothing happens, no noises, no lights on the dash, nada. I’m not great with mechanics but thought it may just be a fuse or loose connection or something? Anybody have any suggestions before I take it to a garage.

Any advice is appreciated, it looks pretty bad when you have a lifted Jimny with chunky tyres that doesn’t even have 4wd!

James

Check the wires into the transfer box are intact, they are really not very well protected and could be your problem.
