Tyre pressure guage was created by Lambert
Hi all I need a recommendation for a good quality guage as it's become apparent that my expensive analogue dial type one has been lying to me by about negative 8psi which explains why Ermintrude has been feeling a bit heavy recently. Not bothered about digital vs analogue but calibration might not be a bad quality indicator?

What are you using?

Just a Halfords own digital one. It's battery has lasted years and it's stayed accurate.

I have had good experience with the British Ring Automotive's tyre pressure gauges.

Cheers both. I'll have a look in Halfords next time I'm passing.

I got an analogue gauge with no need of a battery. Left in the glove compartment for years with neglect and still working just as fine as the day i bought it.
I have no need of the accuracy of a digital gauge and do not miss the moments when you discover it is out of power and the batteries are leaking..

That's the type i have currently and paid a good lump of money to ensure I had a quality item and yet it's now reading 8 or so psi higher than what it should so for something like 2 months I have been driving about on 15psi front and 18psi rear and wondering why its chewing through fuel. If it weren't for having a mate pop over and checking with his guage I might never have suspected anything was wrong.

I have a very old pencil one, so old the whited numbers are fading, that I know is accurate against my professional forecourt airline inflator which was properly checked. It is gonna be hard to find what is bang on accurate I reckon but at the end of the day some are just rubbish. Personally I don't care much as long as my tyres are not flat
