Update time!

Ordered new king pin bearing kit for both sides, got around to fitting them Saturday afternoon. Was really easy with no seized bolts at all, the hardest part was getting the hub, shaft and lower bearing back together with only one pair of hands.

It's certainly solved the low speed death wobble, which means I can now drive the car. However when I took her for a "proper" test drive this evening I was getting shakes between 40-50mph. She definitely needs a wheel alignment as the car was all over the place :woohoo: although I took my wheel spacers off so that might have something to do with it.

However I've still got to do the drivers side (front passenger side was where the damage was) which I'll do Tuesday.

And as for the pan hard rod, I only went and ordered the rear by mistake, but I've decided I'll just have to keep it and I've the front one which should be here tomorrow.

Does anyone have any idea where I can get a tie-rod end that goes from the steering box?

Here's the old bearings and seals, anyone care to give a post mortem?

Update:

After a week in the garage, she's finally back and feels better than ever

Tracking was out by 23mm (garage told me the tolerance was 1mm) so that was probably the reason for my death wobble, as well as the sloppy track rod ends.

It would've been done sooner but Suzuki kept sending us the wrong thread lock nut  all sorted out though.

Unfortunately when installing a new pan hard rod I stripped the bolt hole in the axle, apparently this can be repaired with Helicoils? Would a garage be able to do this? (It was ATS I went to for my tyres and tracking).

If you have the tools then helicoils are simple enough to do, so a proper garage with mechanics not fitters shouldn't have a problem.
