Ticking noise was created by Staceynye
Hi guys
I have a lovely 2005 jimny, the last few days it's got a very slight ticking noise when idle and driving. It's only noticeable when the passengers window is down! It sounds as if it's coming from the front but can't find anything that stands out?! Any ideas?
Thank you x

I had a similar thing - not on a Jimny but another car, and it turned out that it was a stone stuck in the tread.
Check your tyre treads for stones,

IF IT AINT BROKE, KEEP FIXING IT UNTIL IT IS

Check the usual; fluid levels, belts, fan, etc. If it varies with the revs then its probably something on the belts

Its still there in higher gear but quieter :-) fluids are all good so il get the hubby to check belts etc, I checked my tyres straight away but with it doing it idling it can't be, history shows belt changes but I'll defo check it all out. Thank you for taking the time to reply :-)
