interior side panel / trim removal

Hi, I noticed when putting down the rear seats on my partners Jimny that there is rust on the floor plan join lines. I've read the 'Tackling the rust 'blog and hope it's not as bad as that. In order to follow the rust I will probably need to remove the side paneling which partly covers the floor joints. The panelling extends from the rear of the side doors to the back of the car. I can see what looks like about three self tapping screws on each side and the plastic trim also looks to extend under the door seals but I'm wondering whether there are any hidden fixings that I'm not seeing as it looks rather simple but things rarely are.

Thanks.

You will need to remove the front seat belt lower anchor points to fully remove the trim. The rest of the fixings are nasty fragile plastic trim clips that in theory just pop out but often as not shatter. Be careful with them and obtain a few spare an that is it simple.

Thanks. I'll try and have a better look at the weekend.

In order to get some spares in advance are those plastic clips something only available from Suzuki or can you get them elsewhere?

Paul
