Bad old roads where we live and the Jimny doesn't do well in the old crash test. I think I will be building some kind of bumper and recovery points. If I EVER BUY ONE.

Heavy Duty Transfer Box Brackets, 2-inch Black Raptor lift kit, caster adjusters, Rust removed and stich welded new sections. Galvanised Chassis. Body,Engine, transmission swap. Anti Rollbar Roll / Sway Bar / DAVES ARB disconnect kit.Osram Night Breaker Head light mod and white 501 led side lights.

Steel bumpers are not good in a crash. They transfer energy into the car instead of absorbing it. The Jimny is already fairly poor at absorbing energy to start with with much of it being transferred to the occupants. I would sooner walk away from a crumpled write off than have to be stretchered away from something that looks fairly visually intact.
