It's an intercooler...2 reasons to fit one.
Reduce chances of detonation.
Increase air density for power.
So I fitted a 650 hp intercooler to reduce chances of detonation.....Not rich enough to chase rolling road numbers....and it's only to replace the ponies that ran away when I lifted it and gave it bigger boots.

Been running the turbo on the car for a week......no fuel control yet so it's venting to atmosphere.....fitted higher flow injectors so it's actually mildly boosting.
Megasquirt arrives this week replete with a wideband lambda....some fun ahead!

Car had a primary tune today.
17psi boost=no more dropping down a gear for motorway hills for me......might need a 7 speed gearbox!
Might have it dyno checked....not sure it needs it really and numbers aren't my thing...I'll see.
When my mrs isn't looking I'll figure what this "mild" tune up has cost.
