About bloomin time. I had to double check the date of this post as it comes up every year.

Four years years ago I moved to an area that is a bit of a cold spot, the previous year it had reached -14 recorded at the nearby RAF base. Since then there's be none but a light dusting.

I have read before that around 4-6 years there's a big weather front linked to el Nino that causes temperatures to drop sharply, so maybe this year!

Good news for some, bad for others!
What do I need apart from a warm blanket, torch and a shovel?

Sorry but that is just click bait. Its the same every year, oooh oooh oooh its going to be the worst winter ever, our position on the edge of 4 big weather systems makes it impossible to get any sort of clear predictions for anything much further than a week hence, though often a day ahead is a challenge, so all this chewing on about what winter is going to be like when we haven't left September is utter nonsense.

Pretty much same article that they've run for at least the last four years.

At least you have a chance for snow. The Philippines has two weather conditions; hot and humid or hot and raining.

I started out with nothing & still have most of it left

I hate the damn stuff so keep it well away from me. How anyone can look forward to it is beyond me cos as a pedestrian it's a nightmare, it's cold, it's wet and everything grinds to a halt at the first sign of a snowflake.

Do it right - use Hammerite
