So, 2020 is the 50th Anniversary of the Jimny and also possibly the swansong of the Jimny in the UK

After the success of the 2019 meet, I am looking at doing it all again.

Planning is in the early stages, therefore I am seeking opinions.

For starters, here is a poll for you to look at. You may have seen a similar poll if you follow BigJImny on Instagram, if you have answered it there then can I ask that you do not answer it here :)

By north, I mean Lancashire/Yorkshire/Cheshire/Derbyshire area (e.g. for those in Scotland, its South!)
By south, I mean Southern Counties from Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire southwards. (e.g for those in Scotland, its the deep South!)

+1 Northumberland

Excellent off road centre just to the north west of northumberland too - Drumclog off road centre.

I would happily attend both, even though I will be relocating to Swansea by this time.

+1 for the North. Drumclog is in Scotland, but it’s a superb 1600 acre site, otherwise I don’t think there is a pay-n-play site in Northumberland or Cumbria sadly. With large numbers green laning isn’t a good idea

There might be one in a disused quarry opening soon in woolsingham (County Durham). Think they are trying to sort permissions out.

What about Tong, Parkwood4x4, Yorkshire?

Nice and central, varied terrain suitable for all, and was the home of the iconic Suzuki Rgino Rally for many years...

I spoke to Suzuki a few years ago about trying to relaunch it and they were quite receptive to assisting....

Looking at a number of sites and have started engaging with Suzuki.

Kirton wanted £3000 (base is £2,500 but there were a few "options" as well), this makes it £30 per vehicle for 100 vehicles before I add on my other costs so the financial risk is too high for me.

If you could look into options that would be good. Would have to be capable of taking up to 100 vehicles
